Kathmandu. The Insurance Committee has directed the insurance companies to settle the Corona insurance claim within seven days. The committee has issued a circular to all non-life insurance companies directing them to pay their Corona insurance claims within seven days.

The Insurance Committee has given such instructions to the insurance company at a time when there is widespread criticism of the delay in payment of Corona insurance claims.

There were complaints of delay in payment of Corona Insurance claims. The Ministry of Finance had written a letter to the Insurance Committee alleging delay in payment of insurance claims. Accordingly, the committee has directed to make arrangements for payment of claims within seven days.
