Kathmandu. The salary of Indian bankers is going to increase. With the signing of an agreement between the Indian Banks Association (IBA) and the Bank Employees and Officers Union, the salaries of bankers will now be increased by 15 percent.
According to the new agreement, their salary will be effective from this month, i.e. November. In the MoU, it has been announced to complete the 11th bilateral growth talks.
Though talks were held at various times to increase the salaries of the bank's employees, the talks have not been fruitful so far. But this time the talks have become meaningful.
IBA Chief Executive Officer Sunil Mehta has informed that the Banks Union of India has announced the 11th Bilateral Enhancement Talks.
This salary increase will benefit 3.79 lakh officers of government banks, 500,000 employees and employees of old banks. This will benefit the employees of 29 banks. There are 12 government banks, 10 private banks and 7 foreign banks.
