Kathmandu. The Ministry of Home Affairs has directed to distribute the social security allowances to the senior citizens through the banking system.

The ministry has directed to distribute social security allowances to 753 local and 53 local levels of the country at different times.

The ministry has directed 14 local levels to distribute social security allowances through the banking system from November 20, 492 local levels from November 10 and 247 local levels from July 1 next year.

The notice also states that the Government of Nepal has issued this notice to distribute social security allowances through the banking system in 753 local levels of Nepal using the authority given by sub-section 3 of section 17 of the Social Security Act, 2075 BS.
