Kathmandu. Muktinath Development Bank has been awarded the "European Microfinance Award 2020". The award was given to the bank during a function held in Luxembourg.

The effectiveness of the latest and customer-friendly inclusive savings services being provided by the bank to low-income members of small and micro banking programs and the positive changes it has made in the lives of its members have been studied and researched by the International Independent Expert Selection Committee.

70 organizations from 37 countries participated in the "European Microfinance Awards 2020". Muktinath Development Bank from Nepal, Wenin and 1 ोप 1 microfinance institutions from Ethiopia were selected in the top 3 for the competition. Muktinath Development Bank has received 1 lakh Euros in cash for this award. It is said that various works will be done to involve the low income members in digital banking from this prize money.
