Kathmandu. The Nepse index has risen by 28.79 points to 1997 point on Monday 30 November 2020. The index, which has been rising since the start of trading, had reached an all-time high of 2028. After that, the index decreased between the fluctuations in the market in 1997. It has dropped to 05.

Shares of 198 companies worth Rs 8.86 billion were traded during the period. Of the 12 groups, the index of commercial banks, development banks, finance and mutual funds declined while the index of other groups increased.

Nepal Life Insurance had the highest share turnover on Monday. Shares worth Rs 384.8 million have been traded. The company also had a turnover of Rs 373.4 million in reinsurance.

Similarly, United Modi and Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Project are in the forefront of the companies earning the most. United's share price has risen by 16 points and Upper Tamakoshi's by 29 points. Among the losers are Vishal Bazar Company and Bottle Nepal (Terai) Limited. The price has declined by 360 points and 534 points respectively.
