Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that Nepal will be upgraded to a medium economy by 2022 in line with the UN development goals. He said this while giving a video message on the occasion of English New Year 2021.

He said that a four-pronged campaign of new construction has been launched in the country and we have succeeded in building infrastructure in the areas of transport, bridges, stadiums and other archeological heritages, health and education.

He also urged Nepal to remain relatively safe by supporting the measures taken by the government to save the people from this contagious epidemic as Nepal has succeeded in minimizing the damage caused by COVID-19 in 2020.
