Kathmandu. The stock market index Nepse has risen by 3.70 points on Monday. Despite the market fluctuations, the index finally rose by 3.70 points to 2239.42.

The Sensitive Index rose 0.22 percent, or 0.96 points, to 429.39.

Despite the increase in the index, the turnover has decreased compared to Sunday. Shares worth Rs 6.32 billion were traded on Sunday. However, only Rs 5.52 billion worth of shares of 208 companies were traded on Monday. Siddhartha Bank has the largest share in terms of turnover. Shares of the bank worth Rs 426.2 million have been traded.

Of the 12 groups that traded on the day, five declined. Among them, production and processing group declined the most by 41.32 points. The non-life insurance group has increased the most by 176.93 points.
