Kathmandu: NIC Asia Bank has made public its financial statements up to the second quarter of the current fiscal year. According to the public financial statement, the bank's net profit has increased by 2.19% to Rs. 2.65 billion. The bank had earned a profit of Rs 2.16 billion in the corresponding period of the previous year. Meanwhile, the distributable profit of the bank declined by 32.20% to Rs. 728.194 million.

By mid-January, the bank's net interest income has increased by 8.20% to Rs 3.94 billion. Last year, the bank had earned net interest income of Rs 3.64 billion. Operating profit also increased by 4.64% to Rs. 3.38 billion. Earnings per share fell by Rs 5.88 to Rs 35.73. Net worth per share is Rs 157.71.
