Kathmandu. The government has appointed former secretary Surya Prasad Silwal as the chairman of the long-vacant Insurance Committee. A meeting of the Council of Ministers has appointed Silval as the chairman of the committee. The Council of Ministers has appointed Silval as the chairperson of the committee on the recommendation of Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel.
