Kathmandu. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has declined by double digits on the second day of the week (Monday). (Sunday) Nepse general index had increased to 2640.34 points.
According to Nepse, the NEPSE index has decreased by 32.67 points today and reached 266.67 points with a turnover of Rs 8.40 billion. Similarly, out of 12 groups traded today, 2 groups have increased while all other groups have decreased.
Despite the double-digit decline in the market, the share prices of eight companies have risen sharply. Shares of Ankhukhola Hydropower Company and Nepal Infrastructure Bank rose 10 percent today, followed by Nepal Hydro Developer at 9.93 percent, Upper Tamakoshi at 9.83 percent, Shivshree Hydro at 9.63 percent, Chandragiri Hills at 9.67, Sunrise First Mutual at 9.59 and Khanikhola. Hydro's share price has risen 9.40 percent.
