10 billion Nepal Stock Dealer Company is coming in Nepal stock Market

Kathmandu. A Nepal Stock Dealer Company of Rs. 10 billion is to be set up by four public sector organizations in coordination with the Employees' Provident Fund. Employees' Provident Fund, Social Security Fund, Rastriya Bima Sansthan and Rastriya Bima Company are going to bring the stock dealer company.

A spokesperson for the Social Security Fund, Vivek Panthi, said that it was proposed to open a Rs 10 billion company. In order to establish a company with that capital, the company will have 25 percent investment from the Employees' Provident Fund and 15/15 percent investment from the other three organizations, said Panthi.

The Social Security Fund is also planning to enter the secondary market of the stock market soon as the Social Security Fund Act has a provision to invest 20 percent of the current portfolio. The number of contributors to the fund has been increasing recently, said Rohit Regmi, co-founder of the fund.
