Kathmandu. Bodhraj Devkota has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mahalakshmi Development Bank Limited. A meeting of the Board of Directors of the bank has selected Devkota as the CEO.

He had left Citizens Bank two years ago with effect from March 20. Devkota, who has been associated with Citizens Bank since its inception, had been working as the Deputy CEO of Citizens Bank since April 20, 2008. Before Citizens, he was working in Nepal Bank.

He has been active in the banking sector for 25 years. Devkota holds an MPhil in Financial Management from Kathmandu University and a Masters in Financial Management from Tribhuvan University.
