Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has indicated that there should be no corona insurance now. At a program organized to distribute Melamchi water in Kathmandu Valley, he said that it was not necessary to insure Karena.

He said the government had provided free PCR testing and treatment for corona virus infections, adding that it was not necessary to insure corona.

 Various insurance companies had brought Corona insurance policy for a period of one year only. Its duration is only till mid-April. Many had speculated that Corona insurance would resume. However, Prime Minister Oli has given such an argument.

The Insurance Committee had issued insurance policy related to corona virus since April last year. The insurance policy was issued for the purpose of providing financial assistance to people infected with the corona virus epidemic.
