He died on Tuesday morning while undergoing treatment.

A 62-year-old man from Pragtinagar, Birgunj-3, who had returned after meeting his son in New Delhi, also developed cough and fever. There was a problem with breathing. He was rushed to the hospital on March 12 after he was diagnosed with respiratory problems. He also died on Tuesday.

A 55-year-old man of Kalikamai Gaonpalika-2 of Parsa also died at Bharatpur Hospital on March 12, 2008 while undergoing treatment. He was referred to Bharatpur from Birgunj after he was diagnosed with severe pneumonia.

A 42-year-old woman of Birgunj-2 died of corona infection on Thursday. He was suffering from obesity and had fever and diarrhea. Arriving at Narayani Hospital on March 12, her PCR test confirmed corona infection and she stayed in home isolation. She died on the way to the hospital on March 16 after she had difficulty breathing.
