Citizens Bank's profit increased by 41.61 percent in third quarter

Kathmandu. Citizens Bank International Limited's profit has increased till the third quarter of the current fiscal year. According to the bank's third quarter financial statements, net profit rose 41.61 percent this year compared to the same period last year. The bank has made a net profit of Rs 1.59 billion this year after making a net profit of Rs 1.91 billion last year.

The company's distributable profit, which can be distributed as dividend to the shareholders till the third quarter, is Rs 1.34 billion. As of this quarter, the company has set aside Rs 31.468 million in regulatory reserves.

The company's operating profit has increased by 29.38 percent this year compared to last year. The company, which made an operating profit of Rs 1.52 billion last year, has made a profit of Rs 1.97 billion this year.
