Kathmandu. Banks that have been operating with low staff are now offering only certain services. A meeting of the Nepal Bankers Association held on Thursday has decided to provide only five different services from Friday saying that the risk has increased due to the flow of all services from certain branches. The association has directed all banks to withdraw cash from the account, deposit more than Rs 50,000 in the account, transfer money (check, connect IPS), RT GS), make remittance payments and conduct international trade.
It has been decided not to deposit less than Rs 50,000, said Bhuwan Dahal, president of the association.
The association has urged the government to use digital banking business in compliance with the request not to go out of the house except for essential services. With the introduction of certain services by the bank, loan services, opening of new accounts and other works will be stopped.
