The head of the vaccination branch under the Department of Health Services has said that the Chinese vaccination campaign will be resumed from May 16.

The vaccination campaign was postponed after the crackdown started on April 30. Concerns were raised after overcrowding at vaccination centers.

The Chinese vaccine was distributed in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Sindhupalchowk, Kavrepalanchok, Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts from the third week of April. Gautam said that the second dose will be given to 288,000 people in the same district.
