Lamjung. Four people have been injured in a 5.8 magnitude earthquake that struck the hilly district of Lamjung Marshyangdi Gaonpalika-3 this morning.

The injured have been identified as Uma Gurung, 36, of Bensishahar Municipality-6, Khakakumari Pandey, 83, of Chiti, Ward No. 11, Khushimaya Gurung, 29, of Ward No. 8 and Govindra Adhikari, 22, of Marsyangdi Village Municipality-6, Thulibensi, according to the District Police Office, Lamjung. According to the police, Khushimaya and Govinda were injured while fleeing.

While the injured Uma was sleeping at home, the house collapsed and half of her body was buried.
