Kathmandu. In the last one and a half months, more than 16,000 children and adolescents up to 19 years of age have been infected in Uttarakhand. According to the website of State Control Room Covid 19, it has infected 3,020 nine-year-olds and 13,393 adolescents between the ages of 10 and 19.

The first case of corona infection was reported in the state in March last year. A total of 10,740 people have been found to be infected with children and adolescents in the state in a year. But in one month, that is, by April 2021, it crossed the 18,000 mark.

Infections are spreading rapidly among children and adolescents. This raises the question of whether the third wave of corona has reached Uttarakhand. It is said that most of the damage will be done to children and adolescents.

In Uttarakhand, Director National Health Mission Dr. Saroj Naithani says that somehow this statistic is alerting the whole of India.
