In Kathmandu, the ban has been extended by one week, and grocery stores and department stores will not be allowed to open

Kathmandu. The ban imposed in the Valley has been extended for one year. A one-week injunction has been added with strict provisions saying that the infection rate has not decreased. A joint meeting of the three chief district officers of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur on Tuesday decided to impose a strict ban for another week.

According to the added ban, vegetable, fruit, milk, meat and gas shops will be allowed to open till 9 in the morning. However, the district administration office in Kathmandu has decided to close the grocery store and department store.

The chief district officers of the three districts have also decided to stop private and public construction works.
