KATHMANDU: Germany have beaten Portugal in last night's Euro Cup football match. Germany beat defending champions Portugal 4-2 in Munich. Two goals in Germany's victory were given by the Portuguese player as a suicide gift.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored in the 15th minute to give Portugal the lead. Ronaldo has 12 Euro Cup goals and 112 international goals. But Portugal's Rubin Dias scored in the 35th minute and Rafael Guerreiro in the 39th minute to give Germany a 2-1 lead in the first half.

Germany's Kai Haverz scored in the 51st minute of the second half and Rovin Gossen in the 60th minute. Diego Jota of Portugal scored in the 67th minute but it was not enough for the victory and the game ended 4-2.

France and Hungary were held to a draw : France and Hungary have drawn in Group F of the Euro Cup. In yesterday's game, Fiola scored in the injury time of the first half to give Hungary the lead, but Griezmann equalized in the 66th minute.

France is at the top with 4 points while Hungary is at the bottom with one point. In the first match, Hungary lost 3-0 to Portugal while France defeated Germany.
