Kathmandu. Nepal Bank is set to distribute a total of 17 percent dividend this year. A meeting of the Board of Directors of the bank on October 22 proposed to distribute 14 percent bonus share and 3 percent cash dividend for tax purposes on the basis of the existing paid-up capital from the distributable profits up to the last fiscal year 077/78.
At present, the bank's paid-up capital is Rs. 12.63 billion. The bank has decided to distribute the dividend on the basis of the same capital after the approval of the next annual general meeting of the bank.
