Kathmandu. The Supreme Court has issued an interim order in favor of Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari. The court has issued an interim order not to implement the decision of the government of Nepal to investigate the governor's officer. The Supreme Court has ordered the government not to investigate the officer without any basis. It is mentioned that the government has started investigation on the governor's official without a clear basis in the order of the Supreme Court.

The apex court had earlier said that the joint bench would continue the short-term interim order passed by a single bench of Justice Hari Phuyal on April 20. A joint bench of Justices Sapna Pradhan Malla and Tank Moktan held a hearing on Tuesday on whether to continue the interim order.

The suspended officials had filed a writ petition against the government's decision on April 7 after the government decided to investigate them. Last Tuesday, the court had issued a short-term interim order not to implement the government's decision. Following the order, the governor returned to work.
