Kathmandu. The Central Statistics Office has projected an economic growth rate of 5.84 percent for the current fiscal year 2078/79. The department said in a press conference on Thursday that the economic growth rate for the current fiscal year will be 5.84 percent. During the same period last year, Kovid-19 had a growth rate of 3.83 percent.

The department has stated that the economic growth rate is projected to be higher this year after examining the data of various parties contributing to the economic growth rate. The department has projected 10.3 percent growth in industry, 5.9 percent in services and 2.3 percent in the primary sector, including agriculture and mining.
