Kathmandu. President Bidya Devi Bhandari has started presenting the policy and program for the coming fiscal year 2079/80. Presenting the policy and program for the coming Fiscal Year 2079/80 BS in the joint meeting of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly, she presented issues such as making the capital market effective, promoting digital banking and linking insurance with productivity.

Policies and Programs are the following main points

Economic stability will be achieved through budget and monetary policy.

Inflation will be kept within limits.

Small projects carrying big projects will be operated from state and local level.

The local economy will be linked to the national economy.

To promote investment, create business environment and employment for industrialization.

Additional facilities will be provided for remittances through formal channels.

Public expenditure will be made result oriented.

Outcome based projects will be managed. Necessary criteria will be formulated to mobilize revenue.

Under the concept of digital banking, all the work will be done through digital banking.

Credit flow to productive goods will be expanded.

The capital market will be made effective.

Insurance will be linked to productivity and productivity.
