Kathmandu. The securities secondary market will be operational for six trading days from July 20. Securities market operator Nepse is preparing to operate the market within six trading days as soon as the government decides to remove the public holiday from Sunday.
He also informed that discussions have been held to fix the trading period from 11 am to 3 am on Sunday to Thursday and from 11 am to 1.30 pm on Friday.
With the public withdrawal on Sunday, Nepse is preparing to open the market from Sunday to Friday. CDS and Clearing Limited says that there will be no problem in RAFSAF even if the market operates within six trading days.
Niranj Phuyal, acting manager of Nepse, said that the market will be open within six trading days if there is no technical difficulty even though no decision has been made yet. According to him, all the stakeholders have agreed to open the market except on public holidays and Saturdays.
