Kathmandu. Sunrise Bank has been honored with the 'Excellence in Product Innovation 2022' award. Visa International honored the bank which has been providing new and customer useful services and facilities with this award. Bank has been providing services to more than 9 lakh customers through 139 branches, 95 branchless banking services, 13 extension counters and 159 ATMs.

The award was handed over to Ravin Kumar Nepal, Deputy General Manager of the bank in the presence of Nepal Rastra Bank Deputy Governor Dr. Neelam Dhungana during a program held in Kathmandu.

The award was given because the bank provided the latest service facility to the cooperative members by including them in the Visa network and connecting them to the digital payment system.

For the first time in Nepal, the bank has also provided the facility of paying electricity bills by making a missed call. In addition to this, it has also been providing various technological services, such as cardless withdrawal, tap and pay, debit card with own photo, mistaken recharge, online account opening, etc. At present, the bank has issued more than 3 lakh Visa cards to its customers.
