NEPSE increased 32-point and  turnover 2 billion more in Share Market of Nepal

Kathmandu. On Sunday, the first trading day of the week, the stock market rose to a high. The NEPSE, which had decreased for two consecutive days after the election of representatives and state assembly members and started increasing from last Thursday, increased by more than one and a half percent on Sunday.

On Sunday, the market index NEPSE increased by 32.43 points (1.68 percent) and closed at 1965.98 points. Along with NEPSE, all sub-indices have increased except mutual funds. Microfinance sub-index increased the most by 3.07 percent. As the market became greener, the transaction amount also increased to more than 2 billion. On Sunday, when 42 lakh 23 thousand 867 shares were bought and sold, there was a turnover of 2.2 billion 54 lakh 89 thousand.

Out of which, Himalayan Distillery has the highest turnover of 450 million 4 lakh 7 thousand. Investors are very attracted to the shares of the company that offers 70 percent dividend. Nabil Bank has also become the choice of investors due to the expectation of similar attractive dividends. While Nabil Bank's turnover was 123 million 22 thousand, Nepal Telecommunication Company's turnover was 979 million 64 thousand.
