CD ratio increased to 85.69 Percent and 11 billion Deposit collection has decreased of Commercial banks of Nepal

Kathmandu. Deposit collection of banks and financial institutions decreased by 11 billion in one day. The CD ratio has increased as the deposit collection of banks has decreased.

According to Nepal Rastra Bank, as of March 1, total deposits in banks and financial institutions are 54 trillion 02 billion rupees. As of 30 Falgun, the deposits of banks were 54 trillion 13 billion rupees. Deposits of banks and financial institutions decreased by 11 billion in one day. During this period, the deposits of commercial banks also decreased by 12 billion to 47 trillion 61 billion.

The total credit flow of banks and financial institutions increased by 5 billion to 48 trillion 12 billion. As of 30 Falgun, the banks' loan disbursement was 48 trillion 17 billion. Credit investment of commercial banks decreased by 5 billion. Credit investment of commercial banks has decreased from 42 trillion 75 billion rupees to 42 trillion 70 billion rupees.

The average loan-deposit ratio (CD ratio) of banks increased by 0.09 percent to 85.69 percent. On 30 Falgun, the CD ratio of banks was 85.60 percent.
