Kathmandu. Standard Chartered Bank's 19 percent dividend has been passed. The 37th annual general meeting of the bank held on Sunday passed the proposed 19 percent cash dividend. In the financial year 2022/23, the operating profit of the bank has reached 40.97 million rupees. Similarly, the bank's income increased by 47 percent to 78 million rupees and profit after tax increased by 53.6 percent to 35 million rupees, the bank informed.

The ROE of the company that continuously emphasizes efficiency has increased to 20.8 percent. Which was 14.2 percent in the previous year. Founder has 70.21 percent share in the bank and general public has 29.79 percent share. The bank has committed to deliver high financial returns to shareholders by implementing its strategy.
