Who become director of Nepal Investment Mega Bank

Kathmandu. 14 candidates have been nominated for the director post of Nepal Investment Mega Bank. Election officer Shiv Kumar Shrestha informed that 14 people have applied to become the director of the bank.

According to the election officer's office, 11 people from the group of founder shareholders and 3 people from the group of common shareholders have nominated 14 people to become the director of the bank.

Prithvi Bahadur Pandey has submitted his candidacy to be represented in the board of directors from the group of founder shareholders of the bank. 69-year-old Pandey represented Chhaya Investments Pvt. He is currently working as the chairman of the bank.

Mukti Ram Pandey, Madan Kumar Acharya, Dr. Prajanya Rajbhandari, representing Indra Bahadur Malla Thakuri, KUP Investment Pvt. Similarly, Varun Shrestha representing Sophia Investments Pvt. Ltd., Parbat Kumar Karki representing Citizens Investment Fund have nominated.

Election Officer Shrestha says that Bhim Prasad Pant, Dr. Tara Prasad Sapkota, Ravi Maharjan, Sushil Gauchan have submitted candidatures to become directors. Kabi Kumar Tiberewala, Chakra Bahadur Thapa and Vikash Thapa have applied to be represented in the board of directors from the group of common shareholders.

According to the election authority, the time to file a complaint against the claims against the candidates is till 7th of Chait. Candidates are given time to withdraw their names on the same day. After that, Prakashan Shrestha said the final list of candidates.

The bank has called the 37th Annual General Meeting on chaitra 20th with a proposal to elect 6 directors, 4 representatives from the founding shareholders group and 2 representatives from the general public.
