Kathmandu. Ridi Power Company has opened the issue and sale of right shares from 18th Falgun of 2080. The company has opened the sale of right shares at the ratio of 50 percent of the current paid-up capital.

The company has sold 7744 thousand 506 right shares of Rs. After the rights issue, the capital of the company will reach 2 billion 32 million 33 lakh 51 thousand rupees. According to the company, the amount collected from this will be invested in the Lower Balefi hydropower project.

The company had closed the book on January 22 for the purpose of issue of rights shares. Therefore, until January 21st, shareholders who are trading in Nepal Stock Exchange can apply. The company has informed that the application for the rightful shares of the company can be made till the 8th of Chait.

Muktinath Capital is the rightful share issue and sales manager of the company. Investors can apply through the designated branch offices of Sales Manager, Muktinath Bikas Bank and Global IME Bank. In addition, the company said that applications can be made through Siaswa member banks and financial institutions and through my shares.

Care Rating Nepal has given Care NP Double B Plus issuer rating to the company in the rating given for rights issue. This indicates that there is moderate risk in the ability to bear financial obligations on time.
