Kathmandu. Santosh Prasai has been given the responsibility of acting chief executive officer of Nepal Life Insurance Company from July 20. With the end of the term of Chief Executive Officer Vivek Jha, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Prasai has taken over the responsibility of acting CEO. A meeting of the board of directors held on July 16 gave the responsibility of acting CEO to Prasai of Jhapa.

Prasai has been with Nepal Life Insurance for the past three years. Earlier, he had seven years of experience in the Insurance Committee, the regulatory body of the insurance sector.
