Jyoti Bikas Bank's Celebrated 12th Anniversary, 4 New Branches Digital Inaugurates

Kathmandu. Jyoti Development Bank has celebrated its 12th anniversary on Friday, August 26, 2010.

 Keeping in view the situation of Kovid epidemic, the bank celebrated the annual festival at the office premises in Kamaladi in the presence of the members of the board of directors, former operators and employees.

On the occasion of the anniversary, the bank has organized a blood donation program in which 34 people have donated blood.

At the ceremony, Jyoti Development Bank decided to provide assistance to the National Innovation Center for its "Warm Baby" project through the "Our Development Promotion Fund" established for the purpose of corporate social responsibility.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Hari Chandra Khadka presided over the function. Also, as the special guest in the program, the President of the National Innovation Center, Dr. Mahavir Pun, Founder Chairman and Shareholder of the Bank Dhruv Upreti, Founder Shareholder and Former Chairman Dhruv Kumar Bhattarai and Founder Shareholder Hari Prasad were present.

The bank has also inaugurated four new branches through digital technology on the occasion of its 12th anniversary. Mr. Hari Prasad, the special guest of the program, also inaugurated the 61st ATM of the bank at Samari, Beni, Baglung, Futung Branch and Ghorahi Branch through digital technology from the central office of the bank.

On the occasion of the anniversary, the bank has launched "DP service" to provide additional facilities to the customers for share trading. The service will be available from all 105 branches of Jyoti Development Bank across the country. On the same occasion, the employees who have been working in the bank continuously for 10 years have also been honored.

Chairman of the Board of Directors Hari Chandra Khadka and Chief Executive Officer Chandra Bhatta jointly presented medals and certificates of appreciation to the employees.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, Shrichandra Bhatta, expressed his commitment to be more successful and contribute for the greater good of the society by being subject to its core objectives, vision, goals and values.

The bank claims that Jyoti Development Bank has been providing services through 105 branch offices, one extension counter and 61 ATMs. So far, the bank has withdrawn about Rs. 37 billion by collecting deposits and giving Rs. It has managed to invest Rs 31 billion.
