Startup Idea Call to Become an Entrepreneur: Free Training and Concessional Loan at 3% Interest Rate

Kathmandu. The Bagmati State Government, Rastriya Banijya Bank and Vishal Foundation are going to jointly organize a Start Up Idea Call for the youth who want to become entrepreneurs.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Wednesday to facilitate the flow of knowledge, skills and abilities of the youth by inviting new promotion proposals, providing free training on entrepreneurship to the youths who have come up with excellent ideas.

In the presence of Hon'ble Arun Nepal, Minister of Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment of the Bagmati State Government, Secretary of the Ministry Dr. A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Sindhu Prasad Dhungana, Rastriya Banijya Bank Chief Executive Officer Kiran Kumar Shrestha and Vishal Foundation Chairman Naresh Prasad Shrestha.

Kiran Kumar Shrestha, chief executive officer of the bank, said that a minimum of one to a maximum of three percent interest rate has been maintained and a concessional loan of up to a maximum of Rs 1.5 million will be provided through this program.

As per the understanding, Idea Call will start from the first week of November. By providing training to the youths who send ideas in January and February, concessional loans will be disbursed in February and April. According to the organizers, this startup idea call will be very useful for the youth who want to become entrepreneurs in Nepal.
