Kathmandu. Global IME Bank has announced to pay 16 percent dividend to the shareholders from the profit of the Fiscal Year 2076/077.

The company's board of directors meeting on Thursday decided to pay 14 percent bonus share and 2 percent cash dividend including tax. The bank had paid 12.75 per cent bonus and cash dividend including tax last year.

The dividend proposed this year will be received by the shareholders after the approval of Nepal Rastra Bank and the annual general meeting of the company. At present, the bank's capital is around Rs 18.97 billion. After the distribution of bonus shares, the paid up capital will reach over Rs. 21.63 billion.

The bank currently operates 133 branches, 142 ATMs and 7 extension counters, 15 revenue collection counters and 116 branchless banking services. In addition, Global IME Bank has been providing services through three representative offices abroad.
