Five commercial banks declare 10 to 20 percent dividend

Five banks have announced dividend distribution while some banks have called a general meeting to declare dividend. Among the banks that have declared dividend, NIC Asia Bank has been in the forefront while Citizen International Bank has declared 11 percent dividend. Other banks have announced dividends of less than 20 percent and more than 10 percent.

NIC Asia Bank

NIC Asia Bank Limited will distribute 20 percent dividend. The 460th meeting of the Board of Directors of the bank held some time ago has decided to distribute 20 percent dividend from the profits and accumulated profits of the fiscal year 2076/77.

The bank has decided to distribute 19 percent bonus shares and 1 percent cash dividend for tax purposes. The dividend will be distributed to the shareholders after the approval of the upcoming 23rd Annual General Meeting of Nepal Rastra Bank and the company.

Sanima Bank

Sanima Bank Limited has announced to distribute dividend of 13.60 percent (including tax) of the existing paid up capital. The bank has announced to distribute a total of 13.60 percent dividend with 3.60 percent cash dividend and 10 percent bonus share. A meeting of the Board of Directors of the bank held on September 12 has decided to distribute dividend at that rate. At present, the bank's paid-up capital is Rs 8.80 billion.

Citizen International Bank

Citizens Bank International Limited has announced to distribute 11 percent dividend from the distributable profit of the last fiscal year. The bank will distribute bonus shares equal to 7.99 percent of the paid up capital up to mid-July, amounting to Rs. Has been announced. Kumari Bank

Global IME Bank has proposed to pay dividend. The 364th meeting of the bank held last Thursday proposed to distribute 16 percent dividend to its shareholders from the profits earned in the fiscal year 2076/077.

After the approval from the Annual General Meeting of Nepal Rastra Bank and the Bank, it has passed a proposal to distribute 16 percent bonus share and 2 percent cash dividend to its shareholders from the distributable profits of the Fiscal Year 2076/077.

Global IME Bank has earned a net profit of Rs 3.8 billion in the last fiscal year. After the distribution of bonus shares, the bank's paid-up capital will reach Rs 21.63 billion.
