Kathmandu. Bank of Kathmandu's share price has been adjusted. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Friday adjusted the price for the purpose of the bank's proposed 13 percent bonus share. The price after bonus shares is Rs. 262 is specified. The last price fixed on Thursday was Rs. Nepse has clarified that it has adjusted the price of Bank of Kathmandu on the basis of 296.
The bank has proposed a 16 percent dividend for this year. A general meeting has been called on November 29 to pass various resolutions including this dividend. For the purpose of the meeting and dividend, the company has closed the book from the 28th of October to the day of the meeting. On this basis, those who buy shares of the bank after Tihar will not get the proposed dividend. Only the existing shareholders will get the dividend till October 10.
A meeting of the Board of Directors of the bank on October 29 decided to pay 13 percent bonus share and 3 percent cash dividend on the bonus tax from the accumulated profits of the last fiscal year 2076/77. Last year, the bank paid a total dividend of 17 percent.
