Life insurance companies have collected around Rs 50 billion in five months.

Kathmandu. Life insurance companies have managed to collect about Rs 50 billion in total premiums in the first five months of the current fiscal year 2077/78. .

According to the committee, Nepal Life Insurance Company has paid the highest premium till mid-November of the current fiscal year. The company has managed to earn insurance premium of Rs 14.12 billion by mid-November.

Similarly, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) Nepal is in the second place. The company has managed to earn insurance premium of Rs 7.12 billion by mid-November. The third is the government-owned Rastriya Bima Sansthan. The company has managed to earn a total premium of Rs 5.53 billion by mid-November.

Similarly, National Life Insurance paid Rs 4.46 billion, Union Life Rs 2.47 billion, Asian Life Rs 2.30 billion, Met Life Rs 2.1 billion, Prime Life Rs 1.66 billion and Surya Life Rs 1.55 billion. Gurans Life has earned Rs 1.40 billion and Citizen Life has earned Rs 1.8 billion.

Similarly, Reliable Nepal Life Insurance paid Rs 980 million, Jyoti Life Rs 930 million, IME Life Rs 880 million, Sun Nepal Life Rs 730 million, Sanima Life Rs 670 million, Reliance Life Rs 610 million, Prabhu Life Rs 440 million and Mahalakshmi Life Rs 35 million. They have managed to earn crores of rupees and insurance premiums.
