Nepal's three largest telecom companies are preparing to launch an IPO in Nepal. In particular, Dis Media Network (Dishome), including Nepal's largest telecommunications company Ncell, and the third largest telecommunications company, Waldrlink, are also going to issue shares to the public.
Nepal's small and large telecommunications companies are on the verge of going public. Although there are countless telecommunication companies in Nepal, Nepal Telecom is the only company to issue IPO by going to a public company.
More than 50 million companies have gone public and some are in the process. However, companies like Ncell, WorldLink and Dishome have joined in the IPO issue.
Ncell, which has a paid-up capital of Rs 100 million, has said that it has moved ahead in the process of issuing shares. According to an Ncell official, Ncell is coordinating with the Securities and Exchange Board of Nepal and the Nepal Telecommunication Authority on the issue of shares.
Similarly, Nepal's third largest telecom company WorldLink has also started homework to issue IPO.
Chairman of the company Dilip Agrawal said that the company has started homework for the IPO and is also coordinating with the regulator.
Pioneer e-services as a payment service provider in Nepal is also preparing to bring an IPO. In particular, the company has said that it will issue shares to the public by 2025.
The founder of the company, Bishwas Dhakal, said that the process of issuing shares to the public has been initiated by ISEWA.
