Why Bitcoin going to ban in India

Kathmandu, India is now preparing to ban digital currency (cryptocurrency). The government has not responded to the discussion on bringing a bill in the new budget.

Bitcoin, the world's largest cryptocurrency, broke all previous records on Saturday, hitting 60,000. At present, the value of a bitcoin has reached around Rs 6.9 million.

According to India's new law, anyone who buys or generates, trades, sells or transfers cryptocurrencies could face up to 10 years in prison. Investment in Bitcoin has increased significantly in India.

Bitcoin was launched in 2009. It was a time when the economic crisis was deepening in the world. At that time, the price of a bitcoin was only one dollar.
