The Department of Environment has urged not to go out in the evening and morning except for urgent work as air pollution has increased in Kathmandu Valley. "Pollution has increased in the morning and evening," said Indu Vikram Joshi, spokesperson of the department.

Kathmandu. On Friday, the sky of Kathmandu Valley was suddenly covered with a blanket. If the sun is not shining, the wind is not blowing. There is a problem of eye pain when you go out of the house in the weather that looks like you.

According to water and meteorologist Ngamindra Dahal, the air in Kathmandu has been polluted due to the long drought which has dried up the air and brought smoke and dust.

He said that the wind should have brought clouds in the low pressure area for rain, but instead the wind had brought dust and smoke. "The wind from Attaria has reached Kathmandu. The atmosphere is covered with dust up to Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Haryana in India."
