Kathmandu. The share market index Nepse, which has been rising continuously lately, has declined by a huge number on Monday. Shares of all the companies traded on Monday fell by 45.25 points to close at 2782.68 points.
Shares of the banking group have declined by 19 points on this day. Similarly, the share of trade has declined by 168 points, development bank by 57 points, hydropower by 129 points, non-life insurance by 380 points, life insurance by 356 points and product group by 103 points.
The transaction amount has also declined on Monday. With a turnover of more than Rs 17 billion on Sunday, 38 million shares worth Rs 13.90 billion were bought and sold on Monday.
The share price of Radhi Hydropower and Central Finance has risen by 10 percent despite the overall market decline.
