Kathmandu. The floods in the Melamchi River in Sindhupalchowk after continuous rains have caused loss of life and property.

The Melamchi River flooded on Tuesday evening. According to Rajan Adhikari, Superintendent of Police, Sindhupalchowk, the landslide occurred in the upper part of the river. According to the Chief District Officer of Sindhupalchowk, the floods in the Melamchi River have caused loss of life and property there.

According to him, the camps of the armed forces, Nepal Police and Nepal Army in Helambu have been flooded.
