The United States has said four Chinese nationals working for China's top intelligence agency are stealing sensitive information from around the world. According to a statement from the Department of Justice, the four Chinese are involved in a worldwide hacking campaign.

They have been accused of hacking into the United States, including trade unions, companies, and the government.

On July 18, the Justice Department said the Chinese government was sponsoring cyber-attackers around the world. The United States has accused China's Defense Ministry of directly operating such hackers. The United States has said the Department of Defense in China's Hainan province is hiding the Chinese government's move.

In addition to industry and trade, the four Chinese hackers have been hacking information from the aviation sector, defense agencies, education, government offices, healthcare, pharmaceutical companies, maritime trade and the Department of Justice.

The United States has said the hackers were gathering information from Austria, Cambodia, Canada, Germany, Indonesia, Malaysia, Norway, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. The United States has said in a statement that Wu Surong, Dingzhao Yang, Chang Qingming and Xu Yunming were among those accused of carrying out the global hacking campaign on the orders of the Chinese government.
