Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank has projected that the interest rate on loans may increase in the current fiscal year. As liquidity in the market is declining, interest rates are projected to rise.
Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Maha Prasad Adhikari made this information while making public the monetary policy for the current fiscal year. Similarly, NRB has set a target of 6.5 percent inflation in the current fiscal year. The growth rate of credit to the private sector is estimated to be 19 percent in the current fiscal year.
