Kathmandu. Seven hydropower companies have released their annual financial statements for the financial year 2078/79. According to the provision that listed companies must publish their details within one month of the end of the financial year, out of 32 companies, that number of companies have published their details so far. Sanima My Hydropower, Mountain Energy Nepal, National Hydropower, Panchthar Power, Ankhukhola Hydropower Project, Himal Dolakha Hydropower and Divyaswari Hydropower are among those who have published the details.

According to the published details, Mountain Energy Nepal has earned a profit of 611 million rupees. The profit earned by the company with a paid-up capital of Rs 1 billion 96 crore is Rs 31.05 per share. After this profit, the accumulated profit of the company has reached 1.1 billion. This shows that it has the ability to receive 51.39 percent dividend.

Similarly, the profit of Sanima My Hydropower is 54 crore 5 lakh rupees. The profit of the company, which has a paid-up capital of 3.8 billion rupees, is 17.50 rupees per share. The accumulated profit of the company is 92 crore 64 lakh rupees. This per share is equal to 29.99 percent.

Panchthar Power Company has earned a profit of Rs 160 million which is Rs 16.10 per share. The accumulated profit of the company is 116 million rupees. Dividends of up to 12.05 percent can be given to shareholders with this profit.

Akhunkhola hydropower project has earned a profit of Rs 2 crore 48 lakh. This is Rs 3.10 per share. Ankhukhola currently has a paid-up capital of Rs 80 crore. The company currently has an accumulated profit of Rs 2229 million which shows that the dividend potential is 27.87 percent.
