Kathmandu. The government is going to provide health insurance to all within three years. Announcing the policy and program in the federal parliament, President Vidyadevi Bhandari said that all citizens will have health insurance within three years.

So far, health insurance has been provided to more than 2.7 million citizens at 551 local levels.

It has been mentioned in the government's policy and program that non-basic health services will be gradually added.
