Kathmandu. The government has decided to grant public leave to all government offices, public bodies, associations and educational institutions on the occasion of Kija Puja. The Home Ministry has decided to grant public leave on November 20 by issuing a notice today.
The ministry said government offices would be closed on the day, saying it was a public holiday. November 1 is Bhaitika. The next day, the Newa community celebrates Kija Puja, or brother worship.
