Kathmandu: As of the third quarter of the current fiscal year, the net profit of Womi Microfinance has increased by 127.35% and reached Rs. 108.48 million. The company had earned a net profit of Rs 47.71 million in the corresponding period of the previous year. The increase in net interest income and operating profit during this period has contributed to the increase in net profit.

Net interest income increased by 65.63% to Rs. 221.38 million. Last year, the organization had earned net interest income of Rs. 133.66 million. Also, operating profit increased by 127.35% to Rs. 172.19 million. Last year, it had earned an operating profit of only Rs 75.738 million.

By mid-April, Womi's earnings per share had risen by Rs 12.21 to Rs 35.11. Net worth per share is Rs 159.46.
